Doeren Mayhew Ranks Amongst Nation’s Top 100 CPA Firms

Troy, MI, March 30, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Doeren Mayhew, a certified public accounting and advisory firm with locations in Florida, Michigan, North Carolina and Texas, has remained on Accounting Today’s top 100 list of accounting, tax and business consulting firms in the United States.

Based on annual revenue from 2015, Doeren Mayhew ranked 62nd nationally, and 10th in the Great Lakes Region, which is made up of Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and Wisconsin.

The publication reported overall growth among the top 100 firms was more than nine percent, a one percent increase over last year. Much of the year’s growth was driven by merger activity – a sustainable pattern of many years. Expansion of non-traditional services and added depth to client niches also played a role in the year’s uptick.

Doeren Mayhew’s own growth strategy matched the trend of its peers – with mergers playing a major factor in its overall growth. In 2015, the firm expanded its resources and reach through three niche-specific mergers related to health care and credit unions. Mergers with Davis and Davis, P.C. and Adler & Company, P.C. added a large dental and general practitioner base to the firm’s health care clientele, while a merger with Orth, Chakler, Murnane & Co. positioned Doeren Mayhew as the number two leading credit union auditor in the nation.
