Comedian Joel McHale shares a night of comedy to support Gilda's Club Madison, a local Cancer Support Community.

Madison, WI, March 31, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Joel McHale, widely known for his comedic roles in Community and E!s The Soup, is coming to the Orpheum Theater in Madison on April 23, 2016 to join the fight against cancer in the best possible way – through humor – at Noogie Night 2016.

“We are excited to welcome Joel McHale to Madison,” said Lannia Stenz, Executive Director of Gilda’s Club. “For one day each year, we celebrate our namesake, Gilda Radner, with a Noogie Night – a special night dedicated to finding a few light moments in what is a very serious matter for our members and their families when they’re dealing with cancer.”

All proceeds from the event fund free programs at Gilda’s Club that support individuals and families facing cancer when they need the support the most.

McHale recently wrapped his 12th and final season of The Soup. He is also known for his role in Fox’s revival of The X-Files.

This year’s presenting sponsor is Marshfield Clinic. Tickets are now available through The Orpheum Theater. For more information on Noogie Night, contact: Sandy Henshue, Director of events for Gilda’s Club Madison at 608-828-8880 or shenshue@gildasclubmadison.org.
