Magnetism: Meg Frazier + Morgan Winter

Chicago, IL, March 31, 2016 --(PR.com)-- The Jeffrey Breslow Gallery celebrates a unique collaborative exhibition of work by Meg Frazier and Morgan Winter. The show, titled Magnetism, represents the unseen yet tactile energy that exists when two distinct styles approach artistic compositions as one. Meg Frazier, known for her bold brush strokes trickled throughout her abstract style, and Morgan Winter, known for her detailed black and white illustrations, come together to create a dynamic body of work.

A living inspiration from a small city in Ohio, Meg Frazier, embodies a vivid and bright energy through her abstract paintings. Entrepreneur, teacher, and artist, Meg is constantly on a mission to share her love for art education and divergent thinking. In 2015, Frazier delivered a Tedx Talk on “Rethinking Standards,” launching her mentoring to a broader audience. She can now be found painting at her studio, teaching classes, and sharing her dream with others.

Morgan Winter, a New York native based in Brooklyn, New York, was born for pen and ink. She crafts illustrations that touch upon elements of human nature and archetypes. Her background in graphic and fashion design are apparent in her densely patterned, and meticulously composed pieces of art. Her love of modern artistic movements and process-oriented artwork is reflected in this collaboration.

Located in Chicago’s hottest neighborhood - the West Loop - The Jeffrey Breslow Gallery aims to inspire an appreciation of art to individuals of all ages. By creating an exciting venue to exhibit the work of Jeffrey Breslow as well as other artists, the gallery invites conversations on the boundaries of art and the relationship between surface and density.
