Dale F. Shaffer’s End-Times Prophecy Novel Features Bible Reference Endnotes

Dog Ear Publishing reviews a new novel about the end-times when a middle-east war escalates into World War III. Biblical references following the story provide an opportunity for studying the prophecies and their sequence.

Hendersonville, NC, April 01, 2016 --(PR.com)-- World War III has broken out after a pre-emptive missile strike by Israel against Iran after international peace talks break down. But the initial attack has barely begun when Iran launches its own missiles against Israel. Soon, the major nations are drawn into the battle and one-fourth of the world’s population dies as foretold by the Bible in Revelation 6:1-8.

“Unprepared” centers on the Taylors, an Ohio family with two children, and their relatives working in Israel during the end-times. The Taylors are stunned to learn that the major cities and half of people living in the United States have died, and more will die from radiation and food shortages. Christian survivors begin to recognize that Biblical prophecy may be unfolding, releasing the Seven Seals, and the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

A seven-year peace treaty is signed and a new United World Government is formed. Then a new Jewish temple is built on Temple Mount. More changes follow and people become more desperate as families and churches are divided. The Taylors are prepared to die for their faith, but what about their family members, relatives, and friends, many of whom are unprepared?

Author Dale F. Shaffer has studied Bible prophecy for 40 years and served his church as a teacher, deacon, elder, and church administrator. He also authored two management books, and the Detective Lieutenant Ed Slate mysteries series. Dale lived in the Chicago area for more than 20 years and now lives in western North Carolina.
