ACLS Certification Institute Announces New Accreditations and CEUs

ACLS Certification Institute is pleased to announce that its programs are now accredited through CECBEMS and in joint partnership with PIM, thus providing nationally recognized CEUs to students.

Provo, UT, April 01, 2016 --(PR.com)-- ACLS Certification Institute, a leading provider of online emergency life support certifications, is pleased to announce that its programs are now accredited through the Continuing Education Coordinating Board for Emergency Medical Services (CECBEMS) and in joint partnership with the Postgraduate Institute of Medicine (PIM). These approvals provide nationally recognized continuing education units (CEUs) for the professionals who certify through the ACLS Certification Institute’s courses.

“We are very excited to announce these accreditations as they provide important third-party validation of the quality of the certification training we provide,” said Judson Smith, Vice President of Continuing Education. “Healthcare providers are stretched with respect to resources and training, and finding time to attend a scheduled classroom training can be particularly challenging. Our online format allows them to earn and maintain their professional certifications on the schedule that works for each individual.”

With the company’s new accreditations, ACLS Certification Institute has made an optional skills evaluation program available. This voluntary skills checkoff is designed to provide validation of students’ clinical skills if needed. Students can also now receive role-specific CEUs through organizations such as the American Medical Association (AMA), the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), the American Dental Association (ADA), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) and CECBEMS.

“Healthcare professionals often assume that there are only one or two providers that offer employer-accepted certification training,” said Ryan Ewer, Chief Marketing Officer. “With the exciting developments in online education, this is changing. Professionals can now access training when and where it works for them—often at a more affordable price than on-site training. With our new program accreditations, healthcare professionals can train with the confidence that they are investing in quality curriculum.”

ACLS Certification Institute offers certification and recertification training programs, developed under the oversight of the company’s experienced medical advisory board, for advanced cardiac life support (ACLS), basic life support (BLS), pediatric advanced life support (PALS) and the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
