Celebrating 28 years of inspiring performances, world class production, The Promise in Glen Rose, TX is seeking a director for the fall 2016 season.

Fort Worth, TX, April 10, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Calling All Directors. The Promise in Glen Rose, Inc. is seeking an experienced director to join its artistic team for the fall 2016 season. The Promise is looking for submissions from Christian theater directors that convey artistic passion, a strong connection with the material, and a vision for bringing the Bible to life.

In the fall of 2016, The Promise in Glen Rose, TX will celebrate 28 seasons of inspiring performances at the Texas Amphitheatre. Year after year audiences travel from near and far to Glen Rose for a one of a kind experience. Utilizing an award-winning musical score, live animals, and a cast and crew of over 150 dedicated Christians, The Promise offers audiences a glimpse into history as they experience the New Testament unfold before their eyes under a blanket of stars at the breathtaking 3200 seat Texas Amphitheatre.

Audiences share in a life changing experience with a grandfather and his grandchildren. As we hear the timeless story retold, the words come to life on stage. We meet Mary and Joseph who are on their way to Bethlehem, witness as kings and shepherds alike arrive to the manger to honor their Savior, watch in amazement as Jesus heals the sick, raises the dead, teaches His disciples, defeats Satan and gives the world His greatest gift.
