Lamson Shines at International Home & Housewares Show

Knife manufacturer, Lamson, exhibits at International Home & Housewares Show with great success.

Westfield, MA, April 10, 2016 --(PR.com)-- The Lamson booth at the International Home & Housewares Show held at McCormick Place, Chicago, Illinois, from March 5-8 attracted attention, compliments, and, most importantly, business. The knife manufacturing company, formerly Lamson & Goodnow, manufactures cutlery and commercial tools for a variety of buyers, from home cooking enthusiasts to top-line retailers and distributors.

According to Jim Pelletier, Lamson’s CEO, “The show was our first major public event since the recent reorganization and enabled us to connect with existing and former customers and distributors, all of whom were extremely impressed with new marketing plans and product lines.”

The booth featured displays of representative cutlery and tools, as well as graphics emphasizing product features and benefits.

Dave Sepavich, Lamson’s Vice President Sales & Marketing, commented, “The activity was greater than we expected. We had several hundred inquiries and attracted a number of really good distributor prospects, some of whom had previous experience with the company.”

Matt McCloghry, Lamson’s National Sales Manager, agrees: “New products, such as what’s now in the latest line of barbecue tools, were especially well received, and we’re forecasting a really great year.”

Lamson also plans to attend the National Restaurant Association show in Chicago in May.

About Lamson Products
The knife manufacturing company dates back to its original founding in 1837. Based in Shelburne Falls at a dam in the Deerfield River, it began making agricultural tools using water powered machinery. Soon after, the company expanded into cutlery and other edged tools, followed by adding wooden and silicone kitchen tools and accessories, as well as laboratory and graphic trade tools. In 2015, the cutlery company relocated its offices and manufacturing to Westfield, Massachusetts.
