BLOC Construction Acquires the Operations of L&E Construction

L & E Joins BLOC

Austin, TX, April 12, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Today officials from BLOC Construction formally announced that the company has finalized its acquisition of L and E Construction’s central Texas operations. According to officials from both companies the acquisition of L and E’s operations were completed as of April 01.

Formed in 2009, the L and E team has a great track record of delivering top quality workmanship, and on-time performance to homeowners and builders throughout the Austin metropolitan area. The L and E team brings over 40 years of experience in providing best in class construction service, safety, and unmatched quality on commercial and residential projects.

L & E’s President, Mark Longstreth stated, “This is an exciting time for the two companies. This move is a giant positive step in building a construction team that will raise the bar for quality and service throughout central Texas.” Mr. Longstreth will continue on as BLOC’s Director of Field Operations.

As part of the transaction between the companies, BLOC will continue to honor L&E’s open proposals and non-commenced project contracts. According to BLOC’s CEO, Charles D. Clements, this move is a tremendous strategic step towards achieving BLOC’s goals of innovating a whole new era for construction throughout central Texas. He further stated, “We are extremely delighted to have Mark and his team joining us and look forward to exciting times ahead.”

In 2014 BLOC’s founders set out to build a team that would serve as a catalyst to the growing custom home, remodeling, and light commercial markets throughout central Texas.

For over two decades BLOC’s core team has worked in construction markets and with partners throughout the globe. The team has come to recognize the strengths and traditions of construction methods from various cultures around the world. So when BLOC’s founders set out to launch services in central Texas the first goal was to bring together teams that shared a vision of these strengths and traditions.

BLOC did not want to build itself as just another construction company steeped in typical contractor mentalities and approaches. The BLOC team set out to build a client–centered organization that would be a recognized market leader that combines best-in-class quality, construction know-how, professionalism, 21st-century technology, and unmatched client satisfaction.
