“TPMS Sensor replacements category is growing and we wanted to position our Standard Brand TPMS sensors as the go to brand for replacing the Original Equipment on most major automobile makes and models,” said Phil Hutchens, Vice President Engine Management Marketing, SMP.
TFI Envision created “The Original Replacement” campaign to identify Standard TPMS as the only choice for replacing original equipment (OE) TPMS, because when OE TPMS sensors fail, there’s only one replacement brand you need to know: Standard.
The strategy was simple, TFI Envision identified the Standard TPMS Brand as the replacement choice for all TPMS needs, by a series of disruptive print and digital ads that showcase when it’s not a good replacement. All campaign elements visually identify that The Standard Brand TPMS is the perfect replacement for most makes and models of vehicles, but not so great at replacing other things, like grill knobs, foosball players, knee replacements, etc.
