Elizabeth Bublitz, Author of "Pawfriendly Landscapes - How to Share the Turf When Your Backyard Belongs to Barney" Will be Signing Her Book on April 27 at Tagawa Garden

Parker, CO, January 08, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Elizabeth Bublitz, author of "Pawfriendly Landscapes - How to Share the Turf When Your Backyard Belongs to Barney" will be signing her book on April 27 at Tagawa Garden in Parker, Colorado at 11 am for their Earth Day celebration. "Pawfriendly Landscapes" is available at Tagawa Garden Center for $14.99 + shipping/handling or at www.pawfriendlylandscapes.com. It is co-authored by Colorado veterinarian, Judith H. Spurling, illustrations by Laurie Schilz of Aurora and edited by Ann M. Diaz of Loveland, Colorado. Some of the proceeds will go to "Good Samaritan Pet Agency" of Denver at www.goodsamaritanpetcenter.org.

Ms. Bublitz is a pioneer in the landscape industry creating Colorado's only pet friendly design/build company. She says the trick to her success has been letting the dogs "be her muse." She continues by saying, "I work with the dog's habits - he shows me where he's going to the bathroom and I create an area for him. Or he'll show me where he's running and we create beautiful paths for him. We use mulch or flagstone on the paths, so I need to know the dog's size, activity level and if there are multiple dogs in order to use the right material. I don't want mulch to migrate when they use the path or use a material that deters dogs so I consider many of their habits."

Ms. Bublitz is an animal activist and a garden enthusiast who founded her company by combining her two passions and creating pet friendly landscape designs.
