Students Complete Work Experience at NSC

Oswestry, United Kingdom, April 17, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Two pupils from the Marches School in Oswestry completed a work experience placement with North Shropshire College’s (NSC) Sports Department, during the recent Sport Relief week. Joseph Greybrook and Jackson Pearce performed numerous tasks throughout the week with enthusiasm and efficiency displaying excellent communication skills in a number of contextualised work settings. Joe and Jack ran the College’s 'row the River Severn' event, recording how far student's had travelled on the rowing machines, took part in lessons and captured video footage of leadership sessions amongst a number of other activities.

Dan Stevens, Head of the Sports Department, commented, "The lads were a pleasure to welcome into College for the week. They took on all tasks keenly and assisted us as a department in a strong way throughout the week. I was especially delighted with the way they adapted to a number of different tasks that they were given throughout their time with us and they would be more than welcome to return in the future and we look forward to seeing them further down the line."
