)-- NanoHybrids has announced that their signature NanoSphere product line will now include 30 nm Gold NanoSpheres. With this addition, NanoHybrids now offers standard spherical nanoparticles with 5 nm, 10 nm, 20 nm, 30 nm, 40 nm, and 60 nm diameters.

Coatings and Applications
Initially, the 30 nm Gold NanoSpheres will be available with citrate or PEG surface coatings. Citrate-capped gold nanospheres offer the potential for easy conjugation and adaption to specific applications. The PEGylated nanoparticles provide enhanced stability and low immunogenicity ideal for in vitro and in vivo applications.
Gold NanoSpheres are suitable as imaging contrast agents in a variety of applications including: photoacoustics, Raman spectroscopy, microscopy, biological assays, molecular imaging, and molecular therapy development. Additionally, the 30 nm Gold NanoSpheres can be used for lateral flow assays where they produce a darker red appearance, compared to standard 40 nm gold spheres.
Industry Leading Quality Standards
As with all NanoHybrids Gold NanoSpheres, the newly released 30 nm nanoparticles are monodisperse (CV <10%) and are subjected to batch-specific characterization. All NanoHybrids’ products including 30 nm NanoSpheres, are available in a number of concentrations and volumes. Concentrations range from an Optical Density (OD) of 1 to 100. Similarly, customers can order standard quantities ranging from 250 uL to 2 L, or request bulk quantities up to 400 L.
