Italian Soccer Star Coaches Headline Tuscan Soccer Camp Staff

This summer, two of Italy's most skilled youth soccer coaches will lead American soccer players ages 10-16 in an unforgettable two-week session.

New York, NY, January 09, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Two of Italy’s most renowned soccer coaches have joined the staff of the Tuscan Soccer Camp, the first-ever summer camp in Italy dedicated exclusively to American athletes ages 10 to 16.

Esposito Vincenzo and Fabrizio Del Rosso bring a combined 30 years of elite-level soccer experience to the TSC staff, including respective stints as professional players and success as coaches at both the professional and youth levels.

“We are thrilled to add Esposito and Fabrizio to our roster of highly-skilled instructors,” says TSC general director Furio Giraldi. “They have both the experience and the talent to transform average teams or players into extraordinary.”

Prior to joining team Inter Milan as the youth soccer coach, Vincenzo, 44, led professional teams Grosseto and Prato Calcio to an Italian Cup and two Italian Championships. Upon shifting to the youth league, Vincenzo’s team went undefeated, and is currently leading its league again this year.

Considered one of the best youth coaches of all time in Italy, Del Rosso also enjoyed a stellar professional career, netting more than 50 goals in 150 games. After turning to coaching, Del Rosso led the Prato Under-16 team to back-to-back Italian League championships in 2005 and 2006. He is now at the helm of the Empoli Under-16 team, presently first in its league.

“These two talented coaches, plus the remainder of our staff, will teach the campers all of the tactics and skills every successful soccer player needs to know,” says Furio. “Under their tutelage, they’ll return to the states soccer superstars.”

Nestled in the picturesque town of Pievepelago, Italy, TSC will run over two, two-week sessions this summer. The first will go from June 28- July 11, 2008, and the second from July 12- July 25. The cost of each session is $2950, which includes roundtrip airport accommodations in state-of-the art dormitories, three healthy, traditional Italian meals per day, and access to TSC’s fully-equipped sports center. A camp uniform and an end-of-session evaluation from the staff is also included in the price.

Additionally, campers will receive daily Italian lessons and can opt to participate in side trips to nearby Florence, Sienna, and Bologna.
