Tuscan Soccer Camp Opens Registration for Summer 2008 Sessions

Soccer camp for American athletes in Italy is ideal getaway for the entire family.

New York, NY, January 09, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Soccer moms and dads raising budding superstars, listen up: Registration is now open for the Tuscan Soccer Camp, the first-ever summer camp in Italy dedicated exclusively to American athletes ages 10 to 16. And you’re encouraged to get in on the fun, too.

Nestled in the picturesque town of Pievepelago, TSC will offer athletes the experience of a lifetime while giving parents a chance to explore this vast and beautiful corner of Northern Italy.

“It’s the best of both worlds, really,” says TSC general director Furio Giraldi. “While the kids are having the time of their lives at camp, the parents can escape to the Chianti vineyards in Sienna or to the amazing museums in Florence.”

Offering two, two-week sessions this summer, TSC kicks off its first session from June 28, 2008 through July 11, 2008. The next session follows from July 12, 2008 to July 25, 2008. The cost for each camper is $2950 for two weeks, which includes roundtrip airport transportation, accommodations in state-of-the art dormitories, three healthy, traditional Italian meals per day, and access to TSC’s fully-equipped sports center featuring a pool, skating rink, tennis courts, and more. Daily Italian lessons, a camp uniform, and an end-of-session evaluation from the staff—comprised of elite-level players and coaches who’ve traveled the world representing Italy on the soccer field—is also included in the price.

Meanwhile, TSC staff—many of whom are based in Italy—will be available to set up nearby accommodations for parents and guardians, as well as plan side trips and excursions to many of Tuscany’s stunning destinations.

“We’ll arrange a completely personalized itinerary that’ll explore some of this area’s best kept secrets,” says Giraldi. “That way, the parents can have just as much fun as their kids are having at camp.”
