The Local Squirrel Opens in Raleigh's Cameron Village on May 4

Fashion accessories, gifts and accessories have a new home in Cameron Village, Raleigh's oldest destination shopping center. Unique selections and exclusive lines invite shoppers to enjoy shopping for gifts, accessories and home decor.

Raleigh, NC, April 27, 2016 --( Spring brings The Local Squirrel to Cameron Village, filled with accessories, gifts, and art that is unique and affordable. Fulfilling a dream, owner Rachael Pusateri will open the shop on May 4 and follow with a grand opening in June.

Local artists have created exclusive lines for the Local Squirrel. Anna Cate, an artist who works in original oils and mixed media, has produced a line of contemporary abstracts for the shop. Nicholas Askew, featured in Southern Living and Martha Stewart Living, has fabricated cotton boll wreaths for The Local Squirrel.

The Local Squirrel is all about Raleigh tradition with a fresh, innovative approach. Every item is hand-selected by the owner, who wants all of Raleigh to shop in the new boutique. Girlfriend gifts abound and decorating essentials are selected to provide the unique edge everyone wants in their home.
