)-- Today, Tangible IP, LLC announced that they have been formally been retained to broker the semiconductor patent assets owned by Raytheon Company, a technology and innovation leader specializing in defense, security and civil markets throughout the world.
Raytheon’s extensive R&D efforts have produced a large number of quality patents. A selected small number of US patents (29) and their family members are being offered for sale to qualified buyers. These patents have many family members in multiple jurisdictions. The total number patents in the portfolio for sale is 167. The geographies covered with the patents include US, JP, EP, DE, ES, IL, AU, CA, GB, TW, IT, WO, NO, KR, CN and AT.
The patents for sale cover various areas, including MEMs, semiconductor process, packaging and analog/RF/MMIC:
· Analog/RF/MMIC – 17 patents and its family (total of 78 patents)
· Semiconductor Process – 7 patents and its family (total of 39 patents)
· Packaging – 4 patents and its family (total of 31 patents)
· MEMS – 1 US patent and its family (total of 2 patents)
The portfolio is offered only to a limited number of potential buyers. There are no formal submission deadlines. Offers will be treated in the order received in writing. Assets will be taken off the market once a PPA has been executed and buyers will be given a reasonable period to complete the closing.
