LocusLabs Becomes a Member of the VR/AR Association

New York, NY, May 13, 2016 --(PR.com)-- The VR/AR Association is pleased to announce LocusLabs as its newest member.

Both the VR/AR Association and LocusLabs share the same mission in fostering growth and research in the virtual reality and augmented reality communities. We are both very excited to see where our newly founded relationship will take us.

As a member, LocusLabs will participate in the Association's initiative to explore and accelerate the market and technology trends.

“We are excited to be part of the VR/AR Association and look forward to working with other members in helping bring real world uses cases to light. LocusLabs has been collecting high fidelity indoor spatial data at scale across the world and we see some exciting uses for our data in VR/AR applications,” says Jason McMinn, co-founder of LocusLabs.

“LocusLabs is a leader in indoor mapping with one of the highest quality of indoor maps and search data,” says Kris Kolo, President of the VR/AR Association NYC Chapter. “LocusLabs will add tremendous value to VRARA members who want to build VR AR apps on top of indoor mapping data.”
