NSC Prepares for Family Festival 2016

Oswestry, United Kingdom, May 14, 2016 --(PR.com)-- North Shropshire College (NSC) will be holding its popular Football Festival and Family Fun Day again this year. The Festival will be held at NSC’s Oswestry Campus on Sunday 5th June 2016, this year’s event will be in association with Shropshire FA who will be holding a football tournament from 11am to 2pm. The event is open 10am to 2pm and will be raising money Severn Hospice in Memory of Geoff Farr, a former tutor at the College who is greatly missed.

There will be many activities returning this year such as the Walford Campus Exotics and traditional sports, also the College’s training restaurant, Scholars, will be holding a pop-up restaurant. Students from the Derwen College will be bringing their market stall, which has been a big hit at Walford Campus’s Spring Lambing Day in March. There will be live music all day, a BBQ, face painting, craft stalls, a bouncy castle and a treasure hunt plus more to be confirmed.
