Spanish Lecturers Visit NSC as Part of Erasmus+ Study Tour Plan

Oswestry, United Kingdom, May 18, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Three lecturers from North Shropshire College’s (NSC) Spanish partner college, Escuela Politéchnica Superior de Huesca (EPS Huesca), came to visit NSC recently. They learnt more about the College’s vocational educational systems and also planned to receive a number of NSC Engineering students at the end of June as part of a study tour funded by Erasmus+. The lecturers observed a number of lessons and discussed the difference between the educational systems in the UK and Spain, they visited the students who will be travelling to Spain in June at NSC’s Aspire Centre and were very impressed by the standards the students had achieved.

Beverley Parry, from NSC’s Enterprise and Development Department, commented, "The specialty of our Spanish partner is renewable energy technology. Whilst the group were in the UK, they visited a composting and anaerobic digestive set-up at Lower Bank Farm, near Shrewsbury, where they were very impressed by the integration of different systems with energy production. Our students, when they travel to Spain, will be taking a module in Solar Hot Water system design and installation and visiting a centre which develops Hydrogen fuel cell technology."
