EurAupair Announces More Opportunities for U.S. Community Counselors and Au Pairs to Expand Their Cultural Knowledge

Laguna Beach, CA, May 19, 2016 --(PR.com)-- EurAupair is pleased to announce a few more ways for U.S community counselors and au pairs to expand their cultural understanding through exciting cultural meetings.

A United States designated cultural exchange program sponsor, EurAupair, is pleased to announce more opportunities for their community counselors to enrich their au pairs’ cultural understanding of America. While volunteering is a great and popular way to expand cultural awareness, other options include: attending sporting events, participating in local activities and festivals, and exploring the area.

Sports, particularly Baseball, is an American pastime. Community Counselor Liesa, wanted her au pairs to experience this pastime when they attended the San Francisco Giants game. Community Counselors Lilly Lehr and Lindsey Stone, along with their au pairs, had a great time attending a Roller Derby match at the Crown Coliseum in Fayetteville, NC.

Rodeos are another great option for cultural meetings. Several au pairs, community counselors, and area coordinators from Los Angeles, Riverside, Orange County, and San Diego, attended the Lakeside Rodeo.

Participating in local activities and festivals is also a great way to enjoy cultural meetings. Community Counselors, Danny and Rosey Rivera, took their au pairs to the Brooklyn Bridge Park for a two hour skating session. Local festivals are a great place to help spread the word about the benefits of hosting au pairs.

More than 50 U.S community counselors and au pairs, as well as area coordinators in DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia, gathered at the Mansion on O Street in DC, a must see attraction in the area.
