)-- Jamie McCarthy has been appointed Chief Creative Officer, Innovation at J.R. Thompson. He’s in charge of driving the innovation process by focusing on the delivery of key principles behind innovation including leadership, creating networks and leveraging the right incentives.
A creative leader with over 15 years of experience, McCarthy will identify strategies, business opportunities and new technologies, as well as develop new capabilities with partners, new business models and new industry structures. He has a strong track record for building the right culture, creative ethos and team unity for the best ideas to be born. McCarthy has spent his career as an integrated creative and content production specialist. He stays in tune with the ever changing media landscape and determines how creative ideas can live across multiple channels.

He is the winner of several industry awards including Cannes, Clio and The One Show. He was also named 2011 Employee of the Year at Goodby, Silverstein and Partners.
