NSC High Five Student

Oswestry, United Kingdom, May 21, 2016 --(PR.com)-- A student on North Shropshire College’s (NSC) employability programme, High 5, has progressed to a full-time course after completing the programme. As part of High 5, Tom Pritchard has completed Emergency First Aid at Work, Level 1 Extended Certificate in Employability, Health and Safety in the Workplace and the CSCS Site Safety qualification. Since getting his qualifications, he has started a Level 1 Diploma in Construction Skills.

Tom Pritchard commented, "Doing the High 5 Programme has given me the motivation and encouragement to look at other options, the programme has improved my future prospects and I am currently considering continuing my studies by starting the Level 2 Certificate in Construction in September."

The High 5 programme is approved and recommended by Job Centre Plus, the focus is on upgrading CV’s and building confidence, there is the opportunity to gain recognised qualifications and tips on interview techniques. Many participants on the programme will have the opportunity gain a CSCS Card and qualifications in First Aid, Health and Safety and Food Safety.
