Brogan & Patrick Supports Lakeland Shelter Event to Help Transform the Lives of Stray and Lost Animals
Brogan & Patrick Manufacturing Corp. recently participated in an event organized by the Lakeland Shelter called Second Chances. Brogan-Patrick sponsored a table for 10 people to support the cause of providing a better life for lost and stray animals. The event was also an opportunity for the organization to strengthen its relationship with the local community.
Elkhorn, WI, May 22, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Brogan & Patrick Manufacturing Corp. regularly participates in various charity events in their continual efforts to support their local community. Recently, the leading supplier of industrial plastics participated in an event called Second Chances, organized by the Lakeland Shelter (LAS) in Delavan, Wisconsin. The event, which took place on May 13th, was an effort to bring people from the community together to support the animal shelter and its activities.
Brogan-Patrick supported the cause by sponsoring a table for 10 people. The organization was represented by six employees at the event. Brogan-Patrick also invited four local community members, who had previously participated in food drives for the shelter, to join them.
The relationship between Brogan-Patrick and LAS goes back over 15 years. The organization donates money as well as supplies like bleach, and dish soap to the animal shelter regularly. Such is the enthusiasm of the Brogan-Patrick staff for this cause, three employees even adopted a stray cat, and two dogs. The dogs spend most of their time on the company grounds, and are allowed to wander around the office building and manufacturing facility.
The Lakeland Shelter is a non-profit organization, which cares for over 2,500 homeless animals within South Eastern Wisconsin. The organization’s staff and volunteers, care for stray and lost animals. Their primary goals are to find suitable homes for the stray animals, and to reunite lost animals with their owners.
