NSC Sport Students Visit Munich

Oswestry, United Kingdom, May 22, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Level 2 and 3 BTEC Sport students at North Shropshire College’s (NSC) Oswestry Campus have recently visited the famous German city of Munich. The students spent six days in the city visiting the Allianz Arena, touring the 1972 Olympic Park and touring the city by bike, the group also visited the Dachau Concentration Camp. The trip was subsidised by NSC’s RD Park Trust, a charity which supports student trips and visits. The subsidy was gratefully received by the 24 students whose cost of travel was made more affordable as a result.

Louise Gregory, Sport lecturer commented, "It was a privilege to organise and be part of this trip. The students were fantastic ambassadors for the College, in the way in which they conducted themselves and got involved in all aspects of the trip relating to the cultural and historical visits as well as sport. We, as staff, thoroughly enjoyed the trip and are already discussing plans for next year’s trip. We aim to plan an annual trip abroad for sport students, last year they accompanied the travel students to Barcelona."
