La Grange, IL, May 31, 2016 --(PR.com)-- You may have heard stories from lobster-lovers who eagerly return to Nicksons Eatery in LaGrange for its Famous Lobster Fest - about the freshest lobster you can eat, thousands of pounds of it, pulled straight from East Coast waters, steamed and served alongside locally-grown potato salad and corn on the cob. While the traditional lobster feed has long been the festival’s culinary anchor, it is but one taste of this celebrated crustacean. How many ways can one enjoy the freshest lobster around? Come to Nicksons Lobster Fest and find out!

Chef Nick Baca and co-founder of Nicksons Eatery will create different lobster preparations: grilled, boiled, slow simmered...like “Whole Split Roasted Lobster”, “Lobster Chowder in a Bread Bowl”, “Spicy Lobster Cobb Salad”, “Famous Lobster Roll” and more. It’s all good, very good. Everyone will be able to share in Baca’s love for Lobster this summer.

Nicksons co-founder, Rich Baca is in on LobsterFest too, featuring the signature “Vodka Lobster Martini”, shaken with vodka, reduced lobster broth and garnished with a beautiful lobster claw. “Nicksons Lobster Punch” is back by popular demand – a blend of fresh fruit juices, Svedka Vodka, and house infused pineapple. Enjoy a glass of “Protea Chenin Blanc” with your lobster – a delicious white wine from South Africa. Delicious local draft beers will be featured from Palatine’s “Emmett’s Brewing Company.” The Nicksons team recently ventured out to Palatine to brew a “Special LobsterFest Edition Kölsch” with Emmett’s Brewmaster Mike Engelke. A selection of craft beer and wine will be available to complement all of this fresh coastal cuisine.

This isn’t just about the food, Nicksons’ Lobster Fest is an experience. Come to the Lobster Fest on Friday or Saturday and the Nicksons boys are taking this fest street side! Lobster and live music all in one spot.

The festival wouldn’t be complete without the amazing live music lineup. Featured bands will be performing at 6pm nightly. Tuesday-Sanctified Grumblers, Wednesday-MG Bailey, Thursday-Mr. Blotto, Friday-Vince Mammoser, followed by Good Things, and Saturday-Eric Tetherow, followed by Paradise Awaits.

LobsterFest will take place Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, June 21 – 25. Hours are Tuesday-Thursday, 11:30am – 9:00pm; Friday and Saturday, 11:30am – 10pm.

With a rich sense of American pride, the team is pleased to make their mark on the Chicago areas food culture, delivering compelling regional American fare with big bold flavors.

This new restaurant concept is strongly influenced by the rich character of downtown LaGrange. Literally translated, "La Grange" is French for "the barn" and every aspect of the concept--the food, the inviting atmosphere, and the charming space--are meant to reflect the warmth and abundance of rural culture: tin ceilings, rustic hardwood floors, raw wood accents, and family style seating give a timeless feeling and a familiarity that aptly sets the mood for the meal.

Always mindful of the seasons, Nicksons' robust and flavorful dishes are inspired by regional specialties across the US.
