June 2016: Can’t We All Get Along? Local Personal Development Center in Menlo Park to Help Build Cooperation.

Menlo Park, CA, June 04, 2016 --(PR.com)-- “Cooperation: One task, many hands.” -Dr. Robyn Silverman – Kuk Sool Won™ of Menlo Park’s Child Development Expert

June 2016 is Cooperation Month as part of Kuk Sool Won™ of Menlo Park’s Powerful Words Character Development program. All students will be studying, developing and experiencing powerful life lessons focusing on understanding the importance of being able to work together towards a common goal. In addition to all of the physical skills that they'll be working on this month, students will be discussing and practicing the following concepts both in and out of class:

· • Cooperation defined: What is it and when and where do we use it?
· • Individual cooperation skills: Taking turns, listening and doing our fair share.
· • Team cooperation skills: Teamwork, compromising, rallying, valuing others.
· • Cooperation effects: The rewards of cooperation.

“Cooperation, quite simply, is working together towards a common goal. It is a compilation of social skills such as taking turns, sharing, listening, compromising, rallying together and appreciating others,” says Dr. Robyn Silverman, Kuk Sool Won™ of Menlo Park’s child & adolescent expert, and creator of the Powerful Words Character Development system used at the facility.

Kristin Quintana, Chief Instructor of Kuk Sool Won™ of Menlo Park says, “Cooperation is such an interesting concept, most especially when working with athletes. They understand the value of working together as a team, and then quickly transfer that value over to everything else they do in their life. It’s so exciting to watch them grow. We want to see our people becoming winners at the game of life. As we welcome more and more new faces into our 'family', we’re excited to see the positive impact that this month’s Powerful Words Curriculum has on our students as well as on our entire community. That’s what it’s all about for us and we take this very seriously.

“It’s a pleasure seeing our community recognized as a place with Powerful Character, and seeing our students lead the way! As this community’s premier Powerful Personal Development Center, we take this responsibility very seriously. We’re thrilled to help our students and our community to thrive and succeed, and Cooperation month is going to help us to do just that.”

“Kuk Sool Won™ of Menlo Park's strong curriculum and the Powerful Words Character Development system provide our students with the opportunities to become UNSTOPPABLE in life. These lessons will remain with our students for life and we're honored to help them achieve the success that they deserve” says Quintana.

Kristin Quintana is the Chief Instructor of Kuk Sool Won™ of Menlo Park and has helped thousands of kids, teens, and adults to embrace a positive and healthy lifestyle.
