A Night of Free Entertainment with Fireworks, a Movie in the Park and Live Music

East Petersburg, PA, June 10, 2016 --(PR.com)-- The East Petersburg Events Committee will be hosting a special celebration for Independence Day in the East Petersburg Community Park, on July 2nd, 2016. This is a free event that welcomes everyone to a special night featuring live music, a movie in the park and fireworks.

Initiating the night at 6:30pm, live music with locally renowned singer and songwriter Duane Slaymaker will be performing. Duane is a talented Lancaster County native known for covering a lot of territory in the past thirty years, with his engaging music.

Then, beginning at 8:30pm the movie in the park will begin. A large outdoor movie screen allows families to enjoy a screening of Sony Picture’s “Hotel Transylvania 2.” This family friendly film is the acclaimed sequel to the 2012 film Hotel Transylvania.

As the movie concludes, the Lancaster Toyota Independence Day Fireworks Display will begin. Every year, this firework display is a cherished highlight of our midsummer celebration.

Those planning to attend this event should bring lawn chairs or blankets. Food vendors will be available at the event.
