)-- Panera Bread, with 11 Triangle locations, has been recognized as a winner of three 2008 Cary Magazine Maggy Awards, that highlight popular and outstanding businesses in the western Wake County area. Panera was voted the winner of the Best Creative Sandwich category, and received honorable mention in the Best Bakery and Best Ladies’ Lunch categories. This year marks the third year for the Maggy Awards. Results of the contest were based on more than 2,300 online votes by Cary Magazine readers in categories encompassing restaurants, sports, services, shopping and media.
