)-- ERPGov Cloud today announced the availability of a new smartphone app that allows users to compile and submit government-mandated business expense reports (BERs) easily and accurately using their smartphones. This new capability significantly reduces the time and effort required to submit compliant BERs, and automatically stores the information necessary for Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) audits.
Using the smartphone itself, users can photograph and attach their expense receipts, eliminating the need to copy, scan or manually file paper documents. They can then submit their BERs while still in the field, without waiting to access an office location. This on-the-move capability can improve the timeliness and accuracy of BER submittal, while speeding customer invoicing and employee reimbursement. BER submittals are fully integrated with the ERPGov Cloud accounting system, so no cumbersome import/export or manual actions are required. Once submitted and approved, the BER is automatically entered into the accounts payable module and designated for payment.
The app also enforces compliance with company travel policies and location-based per diem rates, automatically calculates personal vehicle mileage reimbursement, and presents an intuitive calendar view of BER submittals.
