Los Angeles, CA, January 13, 2008 --( What does a voice actor’s new year’s resolutions list look like? During December of 2007, voice actors were invited to submit their New Year’s resolutions to the Voice Over New Year’s Resolution Contest, a contest that was created in celebration of voice over coaches Julie Williams and Marc Cashman’s decision to offer private telecoaching sessions to educate voice actors regardless of their location.

Over three dozen voice actors took them up on the challenge and submitted their New Year’s resolutions, all of which were focused on how they were going to make their mark in voice acting in 2008. Entries varied from heartfelt to silly, entertaining and poetic. Prizes up for grabs included an hour of telecoaching with each of the voice over instructors, a Premium membership from and a number of other goodies from the sponsoring parties.

The winner of the contest, September Day Leach, presented her resolutions in a creative manner that identified her as unique as well as having clearly defined her goals for her voice acting career, including a promise to move to Los Angeles, CA from her home state of Georgia to pursue voice acting instruction and work at the next level.

In her recording, September narrates the resolutions she wrote in the character voice of Maybelle Merriweather, her fictitious fairy godmother who is applying on her behalf, persuading the judges of the contest as to why they should select September Day Leach as the winning contestant.

September’s winning New Year’s resolutions can be heard on the VOX Talk podcast in episode 52 at , a podcast that can also be subscribed to in the Apple iTunes Podcast Directory.
