New Book Writing Workshop & Cruise Helps Aspiring Authors Plan and Write a Book

Bluffton, SC, June 24, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Writing a book is one of the most common goals people have, but most don’t know how to do it. The Writer’s Sherpa, LLC, a Bluffton-based editorial consulting company, has organized a new writing workshop for aspiring authors who want to write a book but need help to make it happen. The workshop will take place aboard a Carnival cruise ship in March 2017 and is now open for registration.

This workshop is designed to teach people the nuances of structuring a book, help them improve their writing, and put all their ideas into a working plan for writing a book. Participants will get individual feedback and consulting on their book before and after the cruise; learn in a small, focused group aboard the cruise ship; and return from the trip with a workable plan for finishing their book.

"I get so many questions from people who know they have a good story to share, but aren’t sure how to organize all their ideas into a cohesive book manuscript," said Melinda Copp, founder of The Writer’s Sherpa, LLC. "The cruise vacation format is a fun way to get away from home distractions and focus on achieving the goal of writing a book."

The program is appropriate for writers at all levels who want to learn how to write in the long-form for personal or professional reasons. It is geared towards memoir and creative nonfiction genres.

The Write Your Book Workshop & Cruise will take place aboard the Carnival Elation cruise ship on March 2-6, 2017. The cruise departs from Jacksonville, Florida, and will travel to the Bahamas, porting in Newport and Nassau.
