Opening Soon; Wyre Forest Leisure Centre

News – Kidderminster’s new leisure facility; Wyre Forest Leisure Centre – launching soon.

Crewe, United Kingdom, June 25, 2016 --( Spectile Ltd, the UK’s leading architectural tiling supplier to the wet leisure industry, has been chosen to supply their specialist tiling packages to the regeneration project Wyre Forest Leisure Centre. The new facility will replace both former leisure centres; Stourport and Wyre Forest; with a more modern and sustainable centre for the community. The brand new facility is well on its way to completion, ready for its official launch on Wednesday, 6th of July.

The £11.9m scheme will include a 6-lane 25m swimming pool, learner pool, fitness suite, cycling studio, sauna and steam rooms, children’s adventure play area, 6-court sports hall, 2 dance studios, climbing wall, 6 outdoor turf pitches and a café.

Spectile Ltd has worked in conjunction with Roberts Limbrick Architects, Pellikaan Construction and Places for People, who have been appointed by Wyre Forest Borough Council to design, construct and run the centre. Their specialists' knowledge of leisure centres, wet and dry areas, slip rating values and HSE safety recommendations made Spectile the supplier of choice for this type of project.

Spectile’s Managing Director commented, “When the facility is fully completed Kidderminster will have gained a truly great investment for the community. It has been a pleasure to work on and we are very proud to add it to our ever growing portfolio of leisure projects.”
