About Doug Simpson

In 2009, Doug Simpson’s performances, songwriting and music production has spanned television, film and multimedia. Doug’s song “Big City” featuring Slim, would be featured on Comedian Owen Smith’s DVD project, Anonymous. “Big City” would later be featured in Universal Pictures blockbuster Fast Five starring Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson and the late Paul Walker. In 2013, Doug Simpson had two more songs placed in the major motion pictures Fast and Furious 6 and Despicable Me 2.

Doug’s songs and music has also been featured on Ray Donovan (Showtime), Blue Bloods (CBS), Millionaire Matchmaker (VH1), Cribs, Pimp my Ride, Super Sweet Sixteen, Made, True Life (MTV, MTV2), HBO’s First Look: Straight Outta Compton and a host of other reality shows, dramas and documentaries.
