Walford to Welcome Old Students

Shropshire, United Kingdom, July 09, 2016 --(PR.com)-- The Walford Campus of North Shropshire College (NSC) is asking for any former Agriculture students to get in touch. Whether they studied five years ago or 25 years ago NSC would like to hear from them, so please get in touch.

NSC, in the near future, is hoping to host a reunion for the Walford Old Students Association (WOSA) and other past Agriculture students. NSC would like to show alumni the facilities that the Walford Farm now has, such as the Robotic Milking Parlour and how students’ learning has changed at the College over the years.

Rob Cooke, the former Chairman of WOSA, is on the reunion committee alongside well known lecturer David Nightingale and is looking forward to the possibility of meeting old friends and peers once again. “As a member of the Walford Old Students Association (WOSA) I was delighted to receive a call from the college regarding a reunion they were hoping to organise. WOSA was a big part of College life at Walford and even more so once students had left. WOSA raised money for social events and charities over the years and with this in mind the College would like to invite Walford Old Students, young and old to come together once again to take a look at how the farm and College has grown and changed over time. So if you would like to meet up with your year group/ friends that you spent time with, please get in contact.”

If you would like to get in contact then you can call Pippa Evans on 01691 688087 or email pippa.evans@nsc.ac.uk and leave your name, address/email address.
