)-- Ladi Soul will host Live Music Chicago, an Exclusive Live Band Open Mic for singers, poets & the community to enjoy. The event is July 29, 2016. The doors open at 8pm and the show starts at 9pm at Nu Blu Studios 2628 S. Wabash Ave. Chicago, IL 60616. There is a $10 cover charge. There will be food, drinks, poetry, & live music with some of Chicago's upcoming talents.
In addition to opening the stage for the community to share their talents via all styles of singing and poetry, the night will highlight Jamie Clay aka Ladi Soul with featuring artist Frankie Parker, Daniel Lamar, Jerry Westbrook and The Band. The goal is to inspire the soul through music while bringing people together through words, performance and passions. Jamie Clay Ladi Soul aims to nurture continually the inclusive support of the live music performing arts community where poets, poetry enthusiasts, singers, and musicians, can share their art.
This event is open to the public, providing an opportunity to work on original material in front of a live and deeply supportive audience. Ladi Soul has been producing open mics since 2000. This event is important because it gives the artist a platform to perfect themselves as creatives as well as promote their art before a live audience. It also offers an alternative to the many choices of entertainment for the community to enjoy and support.
