)-- The Student Services Team at North Shropshire College (NSC) has achieved the prestigious Matrix accreditation once again. The accreditation is a standard for organisations to assess and measure their information, advice and guidance services.
The assessment for the Matrix Standard consisted of a two day visit from Steve Jackson, NSC’s appointed Assessor. Steve visited both the Walford and the Oswestry Campus, speaking to staff in the Student Services Team, to students at NSC, as well as external partners. The core areas of assessment were: leadership and management, resources, service delivery and continuous quality improvement, all of which NSC met.
Sara Shelston, Assistant Principal, commented, “The achievement once again of this accreditation shows the hard-work and dedication of the Student Services Team. NSC is fully committed to provide excellent information, advice and guidance to our prospective students, current students and staff. The assessment report contains some humbling comments:
