Film Production Chooses Parker and Palo Pinto County Locations

A film production crew will be spotted in Mineral Wells and in Peaster filming special effects footage for an upcoming fall production of The Apocalypse Experience.

Weatherford, TX, July 23, 2016 --(PR.com)-- The old Nazarene Hospital in Mineral Wells, the Bobby Cox Ranch and Capernaum 1st Century Village both in Peaster are all the selected locations of a film crew that is hard at work in the heat of July.

Braving the heat and other elements, a film cast and crew will be filming special effects for the new production of The Apocalypse Experience debuting this fall at Capernaum First Century Village.

Filming at the Nazarene hospital in the evening of Monday the 25th, the crew plans to capture footage that will be incorporated into special effects spotted throughout the production. Producer Tammy Lane says, "We are thrilled to be using a Mineral Wells landmark for our production."

Other film locations including the Bobby Cox Ranch and Capernaum, both located in Peaster. The film crew will stay at Capernaum's retreat house through the duration of the film shoot ending July 28th. They will utilize a green screen to capture images of actors and horses.

Taking place in the last two weekends in October, The Apocalypse Experience is an event geared for thrill seekers looking for a good scare in late October. It will be scary, but unlike most scary October events, this outdoor trek features a small town, unique special effects, and interactive theatrical drama.

Furthermore, the goal of The Apocalypse Experience is not so much to scare the guest but to awaken them, to share the gospel message and warn them to be strong in the Lord in the end times. More information about the event can be found at www.ApocalypseExperience.com.
