War and It's Impact on American Families eBook at Amazon

Author Daryl Horton, a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran, Gives the American Family a Small Peek Into The Darker Side of Military Combat

Twentynine Palms, CA, July 26, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Daryl Horton has published Deployed: A State of Human Conflict, a book that creatively chronicles Daryl's experiences in combat. Like many Marines, Daryl deployed several times in support of both Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) and Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) and he has taken the time to capture some of his experiences in the hopes of highlighting the need to provide better support for military personnel.

In the book Deployed: A State of Human Conflict, you'll follow the trials of a young Marine and husband as he deploys to combat. You'll see how the many obstacles he encounters impacts both him and his family.

While many stories capture recent combat experiences in both Iraq and Afghanistan, Daryl Horton's effort to capture the impact of war on the American Family through creative writing offers a truly unique perspective and a moving commentary that begs to be read in one sitting.

Daryl has been writing and participating in various writing events since high school. He later attended the U.S. Naval Academy, joined the Marine Corps, deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom, and enjoyed a world of experiences, meeting new people and doing interesting things. Daryl currently works as an information and knowledge manager supporting the U.S. Marine Corps in Twentynine Palms, CA. In his spare time, Daryl writes for the publisher Abolitic Books.
