Penta Racks Up Endorsements for Collier County School Board District 2

Prominent Collier County figures throw their support behind the candidate.

Fort Myers, FL, July 27, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Collier County School Board candidate Louise Penta is pleased to announce that she has received several key endorsements in her campaign for the District 2 seat in the August 30 election.

Just days after receiving the support of former candidate John Brunner, who suspended his campaign on June 12, Penta has received endorsements from: the Collier County GOP; the Libertarian Party; Dick Stonesifer, retired CEO of GE Appliances; Don Gunther, retired vice chairman of Bechtel Group; Mac McDonald, retired chairman and CEO of Signet Banking Company of Richmond; Don Fites, retired CEO of Caterpillar; Joe Whitehead, host of The Joe Whitehead Show; Lois Bolin, Historian; Wayne Smith, retired from MidAmerican Energy; Bob and Ellis Naegele, Founders of the Minnesota Wild of the National Hockey League; Don O’Neill, Chairman of PM Company, and wife Ellen; Drew Steele, Radio Host Fox 92.5; Jane Watt, Founder of Marco Island Academy; Dr. Duke Pesta, Freedom Project Academy; Councilor Victor Rios, Marco Island City Council; Bob Harden, Radio Host, The Bob Harden Show; and Jared Grifoni, Resistance Radio and Marco Island City Council Candidate.

Penta has been calling for local school districts to take back control from the federal government and supports protecting taxpayer dollars. She asserts that to be highly effective, educational systems must operate in partnership with involved parents, engaged teachers and school administrators. In just over two months on the campaign trail, Penta has raised over $60,000 in her bid for the school board seat. This amount has far outpaced the amounts raised by any of the other candidates.
