An Evening of Music Unites a Diverse Community

Members of a multitude of faiths, including Christians, Muslims, Jews, Scientologists and others came together at the Scientology Information Center in Downtown Clearwater to experience a special evening of music on 24th of July. Seventy members of the community ranging from ages 5 to 90 attended.

Clearwater, FL, July 29, 2016 --(PR.com)-- The performance was delivered by the Clearwater Community Scientology Choir, a blend of international artists including England, Scotland, Canada, Ghana, Hungary, Greece, and the United States.

The performance included soloists: Zarui Verdanean a mezzo soprano international singer from the Republic of Moldova and Sofia Keramari an international artist from Greece and final soloist, Judy Bechar from Israel. A duet was performed by Tom Godfrey and Joanie Sigal from the USA.

The event featured songs both old and new, including the inspiring music of the choir’s artistic music director, Mr. Rexford Essilfie, born and raised in Ghana, Africa. The songs spoke of freedom, equality and peace based on the humanitarian works of Mr. L. Ron Hubbard, the founder of Scientology. Concert selections included: Amazing Grace, The Prayer, You’ll Never walk alone, This Little Light of Mine, Peace on Earth, and Let’s Pray for Peace.

“It is our heartfelt belief as a choir that music is a unifying thread for all humankind, and a perfect way to sooth the soul,” stated Maggy Graham, member of the Clearwater Community Choir.

One guest stated, “I like the ecumenical and inclusive feel of the program, and song choices. Wonderful soloists.”
