)-- Davethu Jacob, the Chief Cruncher of mCruncher today announced the launch of Furiend Pet App.
Furiend stands for Furry Friends. The name Furiend was selected because most pets are the furry ones from the mammalian branch.
The story behind the development of Furiend was driven by a personal need when Davethu’s family got their German Shepherd puppy, 2 years ago. The puppy was 4 months old at that time and being responsible pet owners, they wanted to keep track of the brands of food and supplements as well as veterinary appointments that a dog needs.
When they did a search on the AppStore, they found many apps for dogs, but couldn’t find one that met their expectations.
Coming from a software development background, Davethu decided to create a pet care app that fulfilled his family’s needs.
Davethu and his team at mCruncher have been developing Furiend for the last 6 months.
Furiend is a cat app too and not just a dog care app. The app has been developed with several benefits in mind not just for adult pets but also for kittens and puppies.
Furiend will help pet owners to track and remind when to buy their pet animals’ food, water, vitamins, grooming products, accessories, medication and training and vet appointments. This app for pets also store microchip, identification and rabies identification numbers.
With Furiend, all records of the pet are uploaded to the cloud, if an owner wishes so records are never lost and can be easily retrieved. Paper records are no longer required.
mCruncher is initially launching Furiend on the Apple App Store and will eventually roll it out on Google Play Store. Davethu and his team are committed to update Furiend regularly and add new features. App users are encouraged to provide feedback for new features to be added.
With all these benefits, Davethu is confident that pet owners will have healthy pets, thus making it pet friendly. The app is also very intuitive thus is user friendly too. This is the reason the app has the tagline or slogan - World’s Friendliest Pet App.
mCruncher launched Furiend at a very low introductory price. Pet owners can download it here - https://itunes.apple.com/my/app/furiend/id1130176396?mt=8
