Wantreez Music Enters Contract for Big Data with the Most Popular Music Identification App; Shazam

Seoul, Korea, South, August 25, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Store music service provider, Wantreez Music (www.rhymeduck.com, CEO: Noh Jong-chan), has announced that the company made a partnership to be supplied with big data from the most popular music identification app company, Shazam. Wantreez Music will be able to receive a huge amount of Shazam’s global user search data organized into region and genre.

Through the contract with Shazam, Wantreez Music will receive the results of, on average, 20 million analyzed data a day, and from next month it is intended that the data will serve in aiding the selection of songs for stores. In addition, being able to confirm popular K-POP music by region abroad, the quantity of K-POP being exported will be strengthened while the distribution business regarding the export of K-POP will be expanded.
