New Wind Technology to Power the Developing World

Aris Wind presents at United Nations.

New York, NY, September 08, 2016 --( Rural electrification of the developing world is a big challenge. Over 1.3 Billion people live in communities with no electricity service and no short term plan to provide it.

Aris Wind of New York ( and Airsynergy of Ireland (, share an ambitious mission to help solve the world’s rural electrification challenges. The advanced hybrid wind/solar technology can provide “Village Power,” even in moderate wind areas. The result is that far more people without power will now have access to affordable, clean and secure energy.

In 2016, the Vinculum Foundation twice hosted Aris Wind in conferences at the United Nations. Vinculum ( is a private foundation that provides direct, educational and civic-oriented public services for a broad range of diplomatic, NGO, youth, and intercultural communities. Patrick Sciarratta, Executive Director of the Vinculum Foundation commented, “The Aris/Airsynergy mission to deploy their solar wind hybrid technology helps alleviate energy poverty. Their work is very well aligned with many of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, even beyond the obvious climate change and clean energy targets. Their work, simply, is a game changer for energy independence.”
