The Theatre School @ North Coast Rep Presents: The Mousetrap by: Agatha Christie

Solana Beach, CA, September 19, 2016 --(PR.com)-- The longest running show in history, The Mousetrap, is arguably Agatha Christie’s best, spine-tingling, who-dunnit. Who doesn’t love a murder mystery? In this play, everyone is a suspect and a potential victim.

Set in the dead of winter, 1952, at the Great Hall of Monkswell Manor, a group of people find themselves stuck in a house where murder lurks around every corner. As each guest is introduced, the audience begins to see that each character is more suspicious than the next.

"I'm thrilled by the melodrama style of this murder mystery," said Director Ben Cole. "The characters are outrageous and their eccentricities tickle your spine as the audience tries to figure out who the killer is. Everyone in the show has a secret! Watching them creep around to discover what's really the truth makes the show a fun and suspenseful ride from start to finish."

Known for its twist ending, audiences are often asked upon leaving the theatre, to keep the play’s conclusion a secret, and that is what keeps this play so dramatic.

The cast includes: Sydney Gerlach, Riley Hull, Christian Payne, Chloe Canler, Ryan Kidd, Lindsey Kirkwood, Gabe Krut, Jacob Morilak, Annabelle Chambers, Emmy MacRae, Amy Baron and Cohl Capano. Directed by Benjamin Cole.

The Mousetrap opens October 6, 2016. Performances are 10:30AM, 12:30PM and 5:00PM on October 6th and 7th; 2:00PM and 5:00PM on October 8th; and 2:00PM October 9th.
