)-- Lynn Yew Evers will perform with Will Ackerman, Producer and Grammy Award-winning guitarist, in Weill Hall at Carnegie Hall on Friday, October 28th at 8:00 pm. The concert is in celebration of Evers' new CD "ELYSIAN."
They will be joined by other musicians including Trevor Gordon Hall, Eugene Friesen, Jill Haley, Vin Downes, who will share the stage and bring "great music," says Evers.
Big Noise is acting as publicist and career strategist for Evers.
"Lynn Evers has the heart of a romantic and the hands of an artist. The combination is very powerful," says Ackerman. "Her music is like a walk through the most beautiful garden you've ever imagined. Her compositions imbued with profound emotion and grace. A pianist who has played for the king and queen of her native Malaysia, she brings her years of classical discipline to 'ELYSIAN,' her latest recording, which offers the most accomplished and accessible compositions of her career. For her many fans, 'ELYSIAN' will delight and for new listeners, these recordings will quickly become favorites. Backed by such famous players as bassist Tony Levin, six-time Grammy Award winner cellist Eugene Friesen and Grammy Award winner and internationally acclaimed flautist Wouter Kellerman, 'ELYSIAN' is a remarkable achievement from every standpoint."
