In support of the campaign launch, TEAM is announcing kickoff events, a video open call, and a new resource website.
The TEAM Kickoff Event took place on September 20th at the MGH O’Keeffe Auditorium and was simulcast to participating colleges. This event was co-hosted by the MGH Center for Cross-Cultural Student Emotional Wellness and featured a performance by The Breaking Silences Project.
A recording of the Kickoff Event is available to view on the TEAM website here: http://www.teamasianminds.org/team-campaign/events/ If you would like to hold your own discussion group or event, please contact TEAM for more information at email@example.com.
The TEAM Video Open Call officially launched on September 20th. Participants can submit an original video between 30 seconds and 6 minutes in one of three categories: video essay, personal story, or public service announcement (PSA). Guidelines for the Video Open Call are posted on the TEAM website.
The TEAM website is now live: www.teamasianminds.org. The brand new website is home to information and resources on mental health for Asian Americans. With the site, TEAM hopes to help promote open and honest discussion about mental health issues and services. Visitors can participate in the campaign by taking a pledge, making a contribution, sharing their story, and more. Visit the website for details.
With a grant from the hope & grace initiative by philosophy, TEAM's goal is to engage 150,000 people by April 2017. For more information about TEAM and ways to get involved, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
