Class Act Books Emphasizes Series for September

Port Townsend, WA, September 26, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Although its main emphasis is on standalone novels, Class Act Books features many series among its titles.

Chief among these is the Three Moon series by Icy Snow Blackstone, the publishers' best seller. This science fiction/futuristic series currently consists of three novels: "Three Moon Station," "In This Kingdom By The Sea," and "The Finer Gentleman." With a running storyline featuring the romance between Katy, a citizen of Terra and Sar Trant, a Tritomitian rancher on a planet resembling Earth's Old West, the first novel, Three Moon Station, was declared one of the best series in sci-fi/fantasy for three years running (2012-2014) by the Paranormal Romance Guild's Reviewers Choice. The second novel was awarded a Critics Choice Award in 2014 by The Paranormal Romance Guild, also.

Linda J. Burson's Marcy series, a thriller romance featuring a suspenseful triangle, now has four titles in its list with another expected to be released in coming months.

Mystery series include Jack Frost's Jake Colman series about a New Orleans PI and his friend, the governor, fighting vice in Louisiana, and the Hugh Winslow series by RW Weiss where a Chicago detective transplanted to Wyoming solves crimes with the local sheriff. Sherry Derr-Wille's Rhonda Pohs series about a Wisconsin female sheriff has six entries in this cozy mystery series. Combining the paranormal with mystery, Jacqueline Paige's Hidden Senses series features three novels: "Hidden Perceptions," "Dream Visions," and "Inner Reflections."

Britisher James Austin McCormick's Dragon series, is a sci-fi/space opera about an elf-like conman and his hulking barbarian companion who find themselves agents of the government. Dragon, Dragon: Smuggler Tales, and Dragon: The Tower of Tamerlane are the current titles.

For the mature female reader, Sherry Dare offers her D.O.L.L.S. series about a group of older women who find that passing forty doesn't mean there can't be passion in their lives. Also in the romance line but with more emphasis on action, Toni V. Sweeney has penned The McCoys, seven novels about an Irish family and the adventures leading them from Ireland to Nebraska in the mid-1800's.

Combining myth with a contemporary story, Tony-Paul de Vissage's Second Species series features a tale of vampires attempting to settle into human society. The first novel in the series, Shadow Lord, was named one of the Top Ten in Horror for 2013 by Preditors & Editors Readers Choice poll.
