Possibilities for Design Named Finalist of Model Home Merchandising in 2016 MAME Awards

Company received seven silver awards for "Best Interior Design of a Model Home."

Denver, CO, September 28, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Possibilities for Design, Inc. of Denver, a national leader in model home merchandising and interior design, has been named the finalist of seven awards in the 2016 MAME (Marketing and Merchandising Excellence) Awards presented by the Sales & Marketing Council and Home Builders Association (HBA) of Metro Denver.

Possibilities for Design received seven silver awards for “Best Interior Design of a Model Home.” Gold awards will be given at the awards ceremony taking place Oct. 1 at the Denver Center of Performing Arts.

All of Possibilities’ finalists exemplify the latest design trends of 2016-2017 that appeal to a wide spectrum of potential home buyers. The Bellvue (2,750 square feet) and the Orion (3,950 square feet) models at Kechter Farm by Toll Brothers are among the design firm’s finalists, as well as the Amber model (3,350 square feet) at Park Preserve by D.R. Horton.

Possibilities also designed the interiors of the model homes at Toll Brothers’ community, Inspiration, in Aurora. The community has quickly become the most talked about active adult community in Colorado. Four of the models at this community have silvered at MAME, including: the Antero (2,800 square feet), the Warren (2,400 square feet), the Trelease (2,200 square feet), and the Carson (1,700 square feet).

Inspiration has been praised for its innovative and eye-catching interior design that highlights the architectural features of the models, and exemplifies the latest interior design trends.

“We designed five model homes at Inspiration so each one had to be distinctly different from the other,” says Doris Pearlman, President of Possibilities for Design. “We achieved this with a meticulous attention to detail, and amplifying the design sequence of each home. The treat here is that it’s an active adult community that has the feel of a luxury home residency with the latest design trends.”

The Denver Post went on to acclaim the community saying, "One obvious reason why master-planned Inspiration in Douglas County north of Parker is selling so rapidly (22 homes sold in the past six weeks) is that buyers are wanting more than just a new home when they buy - they want a lifestyle with lots of things to do, and people to get to know." “It's been incredible for us to hear the overwhelming response about Inspiration, not only from potential home buyers, but also from professionals in the home building industry,” Pearlman continued. “It’s been so rewarding for us to watch the people we envisioned living in these models actually walking through the finished product and loving it. We feel we nailed it.”
