Jungle Ethics Films in Pre-Production of Political Thriller, "The Tides of November"

The next project for Jungle Ethics Films/Strange Worlds is a political thriller about a brand new president elected from a third party, progressive campaign. Paul Cross is attached.

Los Angeles, CA, October 04, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Jungle Ethics Films‘ “The Tides of November” is a short film about the new POTUS, young and idealistic, the first to be elected from a 3rd party since Lincoln. “He ran on revolutionary platform of peace, justice and renewable energy. Many of the old ways are set to crumble, and he has appeared in the perfect political storm,” describes the author, Mikos Zavros. All is not perfect, however, when President Augustus Troy is diverted from the inaugural dinner to see a special film of a tragic event that many believe is a coup d’etat of the American government. Never released to the public, it clearly shows the perpetrators and people in present day politics that were there and ‘witnessed’ the event. Clearly, this is a warning to “play ball” with the deep state, which actually controls not only US policy, but foreign policy, banks and trade. The script is a finalist in the Los Angeles Cinefest Film Festival as of the writing of this release.

The director, Mikos Zavros has enjoyed Film Festival exposure of his recent shorts, including best director and semi-finalist for best film for “Accommodations,” a satire on religious accommodations in the service industry. His latest to come out of post is “Group Lotto,” a mysterious film about numbers that five people choose the same... five times in a row. Both films are co-produced with Strange World Production Studios.
