Fusfoo Media Launches High School Digital Network Pilot Program for the 2016/17 School Year

New York, NY, October 06, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Fusfoo Media LLC, developer of the first national high school digital network, announced today it has launched its pilot program for the 2016/17 academic school year in 25 high schools in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Fusfoo allows schools to consolidate all of their media onto a single platform. The Fusfoo Network provides each school with a unique digital channel on the Fusfoo website to post video and editorial content created by their students. With each high school having its own channel on the Fusfoo platform, Fusfoo enables schools to become part of a national network of high schools. Oversight for each school channel is provided by a school administrator, which permits schools to exercise the same level of control over their Fusfoo Network video and editorial content as their current medial models.

In addition to creating and posting their own content, schools can view and repost thoughtful, relevant and age-appropriate content on their school channels that is posted by other high schools across the country. It has long been observed that students are more engaged when viewing content produced and developed by their peers.

Similarly to conventional school newspapers, students will use Fusfoo to report on high school events such as sports, school performances and events, as well as local, community, national and world affairs. Now any student can be involved in creating video or editorial content about topics that they are passionate and curious about, from science to sports and fashion to politics. All content created is archived on the school’s channel and remains available.

For high school students, Fusfoo provides a safe, educational, and engaging space for content to be created, curated, shared, and consumed. Jana Levinson, Vice President, states, “Our pilot schools consist of many of the leading academic high schools and administrative thought leaders in the New York metropolitan area. We are excited to be working with them and their students as we continue to build the leading high school digital platform.”

Co-founder Bob Ferraro, Jr. adds, “The Fusfoo platform provides high school students interested in the fields of communications and journalism a one-of-a-kind opportunity. Whether they are interested in being producers, editors, writers, or anything else they can dream of, students will have the opportunity to produce and curate content in a safe environment.”

Over the next 12 months, Fusfoo aims to add an additional 150 high schools to the Fusfoo High School Digital Network.
